Introduction  

Today the number of African inhabitants rises up 885 million with 3 to 4/ 1000 rate of birth and 52 years old as life expectancy. 

Hence, Africa is potentially an important market where extra health effort should be done, knowing that life expectancy in most of the European Countries goes beyond 70 years old.
African politicians are working out hard this way to rise the budget allotted to health services all along with harmonizing administrative procedures between different African countries.
Yet, Africa remains dependant on other continents in the field of health services since it import most of the drugs and pharmaceutical products from abroad.
DAWAFRIC is the most important salon of medicines and of parapharmacy  in Africa.
This event is a good opportunity for all African chemists to express their specific needs.
So, DAWAFRIC represents for health professionals a unique opportunity to meet simultaneously all African chemists so that they can make their expectations known to each other.
Moreover, DAWAFRIC enables health professionals to communicate their know-How and their enthusiastic will to seal partnerships with African chemists.

a- Presentation : 

DAWAFRIC is a salon intended for African chemists.
Provided date        : the 31october and 1th of November 2008 
Place  of the event : Exhibition and conferences centre of  Casablanca Exchange Office (Morocco)
This demonstration is the occasion to get into touch with at least 5000 chemists coming from the four corners of Africa.
Are expected  : 100 exhibitors

b- Perspectives :

DAWAFRIC gathers the different actors of the profession : chemists, producers, distributors, professionals in charge of the promotion of suppliers of services in particular. 
The finality of this great event is to organise conferences and Round Table on specific topics related to pathologies and African realities.
Our aim is to better, to promote and initiate economic and scientific relations between the participant countries.
The pledge of success of this salon is our challenge : to convince the maximum chemists, the opinion leaders and makers of decision to take part.

2. DESCRIPTION :

*The conference aspect :

DAWAFRIC projects to tackle specific African subjects which could be chosen by our partners (meant to provide DAWFRIC with specific posture)

*Exhibition aspect :

DAWAFRIC will be an intermediary between the different exhibitors and chemists visitors.
For this second edition, we are expecting 30 partners and 70 exhibitors.
*Extra activities:
To make this salon an attractive one many actions will be undertaken :
- Two musical parties are programmed : a Moroccan, and African one ;  animated by singers known all over Africa.
- All long days animations will take place in the exhibition area (TV platform ; interviews ; meeting etc
- Touristic tours
- Visits of Sites of Productions will be programmed.
